This beautiful little church is on the highway just south of Canova, South Dakota. This area is far from the light pollution of the bigger cities so there is almost zero light pollution except for the small light around back of the church. For this shot I had to stand in the intersection of the highway and the gravel road so I was not able to do as long of a time-lapse that night as I would like to. If you would like to see the shots I did get I have it in the video section on my facebook page.
Because of the small light behind the church I actually was only able to expose the shot for 20 and 2500iso , I'd like to go 25 seconds and some higher iso shots , to bring out the stars even more, if that light is ever not on next milky way season. But anyways because of the lack of light pollution and the perfect cold night and humidity conditions this shoot was very successful in my opinion.
